A scream fills the room, everyone remains unfazed. A dark figure approaches her, holding out his hand. She slowly slides her hand into his. As he pulls her close, they begin to glide to the music; everyone stepping back. She feels scared, yet comforted in his arms. She begins to feel weak; as she lays her head on his shoulder. She slams her bedroom door behind her, only to find him standing at the foot of her bed. Closing her eyes, tears begin to roll down her cheeks as she slides down the door to the floor, letting out her emotions. As she opens her eyes, he has vanished, leaving behind a single red rose on the end of her bed. She picks up the rose and watches as it slowly decays in her hand. She buries her face in her hands as she sits there crying, knowing that she's lost and broken; left to never know how to find herself again... ***I do not condone violence, substance abuse, or self harm.
