...he glances upon her as she lay tenderly, motionless. He runs his hand through her soft, red hair. A soft smile relaxes upon her lips. He gently runs his fingers over her bare shoulder; caressing her soft smooth skin. A feeling washes over him, one he's never felt throughout his journeys. He leans in and ever so gently places his lips upon her brow, leaving a graceful kiss. As he looks upon her slumbering body, he can't shake the thoughts. Thoughts of this beautiful creature running his mind. Never meeting in their lives, but why occupy his. Never able to make the visions of her dissipate, but then why would he want them to? How can one as graceful as her make him feel in such a way that it won't leave him. She slowly opens her eyes; their gazes catching each other. A light comes alive in her eyes; a smile takes her subtle lips. A smile over takes him. He can feel her light washing over him, like a first breath he'd ever taken. They close their eyes as he slowly leans in as their lips meet; their hearts beating as one. It's as if their souls were connecting; becoming whole for their first time since they can remember. He helps her to her feet. She falls into his arms; feeling all the feelings she has dreamed of for as long as forever. He wraps his arms around her, taking in every moment; thinking to himself is this what love must be? But he was going to spend his time finding out...
