..1..2..3..4..walking down these streets..5..6..7..silent, oh so silent..8..9..10..the streets become blanketed in a white fog..11..12..13..thick as blood, white as freshly fallen snow. She hears a scream in the distance. Looking around, she only sees the fog. She takes a step forward and the fog parts to reveal a figure in the distance. She begins to run towards it; feeling as though she is stuck in place. She can see a girl fighting to get free of a black muck hole. she extends her hand to help pull her free. She looks into the girl's eyes and gasps. She lets go and falls backwards into the darkness. She feels as though she is in a never ending fall through the dark abyss. No sounds, no light, just nothing. She crashes into the ground. As she slowly begins to open her eyes, she brings herself into a seated position. She's home, in her bed. Wondering to herself why she keeps having these dreams. She sets her feet on the floor and walks to her window, pulling open her curtains. The world is so dark; she can't help but wonder who she is and where she is supposed to be. A tear runs down her cheek, wishing with all her might that she knew all the answers that she seeks..
