"Journey in the Haunted Alas Roban"
The day had turned dark, and heavy rain poured from the sky like droplets of blood, a foreboding sign that this night would be shrouded in mystery. In a small village on the outskirts of a forest, a group of friends gathered in front of an old cabin. They were Rai, Tara, Budi, and Maya. They had long heard eerie tales of Alas Roban, a dark forest to the east of their village.
"You know, they say Alas Roban is a haunted place," said Rai, the group's leader. "There are evil spirits that roam there."
Tara responded, "But we're just passing through the forest to reach the neighboring village. There's nothing to worry about, right?"
Budi added enthusiastically, "We'll be village heroes if we successfully complete this journey."
Maya, who was always more skeptical, simply nodded without fully believing.
They brought rain gear, flashlights, and provisions of food and water. After gathering, they set off for Alas Roban.
The forest was truly dark, and a thin mist enveloped them as they ventured deeper. The wind whispered through the trees, and leaves fell like rain. All of it created a chilling atmosphere.
They continued to walk through the night, following a dim and often disappearing trail through the thickening trees. The tension grew with every step, especially as they heard unexplained sounds, as if something lurked among the shadows.
As midnight approached, they heard footsteps behind them. They stopped, shining their flashlights in the direction of the noise, but found nothing.
"Just for fun," Budi said, trying to spook Tara, "maybe it's the Alas Roban ghost following you."
Tara shot him an angry look. "Don't joke, Budi. We need to stay focused."
They pressed on, becoming increasingly unnerved by the rising tension. Shortly after, Maya screamed suddenly, pointing upward towards the towering trees.
"There's something up there!" she cried.
They saw a flock of crows flying above them, silhouetted against the full moon. The forest's darkness created eerie, shifting shadows.
Rai tried to ease the tension. "Those are just birds. Let's keep going."
They finally reached the outskirts of Alas Roban as the sun began to rise. They felt relieved, thinking they were almost through the forest. However, when they saw what lay ahead, their breath caught in their throats.
A small burned-down village appeared before them. The wooden houses had been reduced to ashes, and a gentle breeze carried the ash into the sky. The village looked like an abandoned ghost town.
They cautiously approached the village. Amidst the scorched ruins, they found a charred corpse, exposed to the morning sun. The man's face was horribly disfigured, his eyes still open in an expression of unfathomable terror. Maya covered her eyes with trembling hands.
"We need to find out what happened here," Rai said with a grave voice.
They explored the burnt village and found several more corpses, including those of young children. All the bodies appeared grotesque. Tara cried, and Budi tried to console her.
Then, they noticed a still-standing cabin at the edge of the village. They approached it and heard faint, chilling whispers emanating from inside. The whispers sounded like they came from beyond the grave.
They exchanged looks, and Maya nodded, indicating they should proceed cautiously.
They opened the cabin's door slowly, and inside they found an old man bound by chains to the wall. The man looked frail, with burn marks covering his body. His eyes were filled with fear.
"You have to help me," the man whispered. "They're still here."
"Who are 'they'? What happened here?" Rai asked.
The old man began to recount the horror that had taken place in the village. He said that the village had long been cursed by an evil entity that resided in Alas Roban. The entity demanded human sacrifices to maintain its power. The villagers were forced to choose one among them as a sacrifice every year. Those who disobeyed would face the same fate as the village.
The man then explained how he had almost been a sacrifice himself. He managed to escape but witnessed the malevolent spirits burning the village in retaliation. Now, they were after anyone left in the village.
Rai and his friends were overcome with an incredible sense of dread. They decided to try and free the man from the cabin. But before they could do so, the cabin's door slammed shut with a loud bang. They struggled to open it, but it was futile.
As they frantically looked for an escape, the unexplainable, eerie sounds drew nearer. They saw shadowy figures circling them, like malevolent spirits closing in.
The old man could only weep and cry for help. Tara, Budi, Maya, and Rai fought desperately to defend themselves, but the evil spirits closed in, tearing their bodies apart with savage brutality. Blood spilled, cries of desperation filled the air, and, in the end, all fell silent.
The old man locked in the cabin could only weep in despair. The entire village was left as a cursed ghost town, and the malevolent spirits from Alas Roban continued to roam, waiting for their next victim to quench their insatiable thirst.
In the pitch-black night, evil laughter resonated throughout the forest, signifying that no one would escape the cruelty of Alas Roban, and the horrifying mystery would persist, claiming the lives of anyone daring to traverse its depths.
