ISLA ~•~ The drive through the city street was quiet. Lorenzo sat at the wheel, his focus on the road ahead of him while I kept my hands folded in my lap, pretending to focus on the view. In truth, I was watching him. I knew that he knew I had tried to listen in on their conversation.
