ISLA ~•~ I’d left for school around seven in the morning, but since my second lecture got canceled, I was back home as early as eleven in the morning. The house was unusually quiet when I got home. It was even quieter than it was in the morning. The air was tense as though everyone was holding their breath. The guards stationed around looked stiff, eyes fixed straight ahead.
