ISLA ~•~ In the month Lorenzo was away, I’d made a lot of progress on training. I could throw knives now. My throws weren’t precise but it still stuck to the target. My punch could hurt even if it could easily be blocked and I was just starting to learn how to use guns. Aside from training, I’d been very busy with school. Exams had been tough but without Lorenzo around to distract me, I was almost sure I’d been acing them. It was my final paper and I was feeling pretty good about it. I was tired of school.
