FINDING ME

She travelled all the way to Rivers State and set up a place with some of her monetized stock. It was simply named LARABA. She started out providing comfort for men with estranged wives. She charged high and every minute with her was worth it. They always came back for more. Even as a shadow of her former self, she was hawt. Despite all she had been through, she remained winsome.

However, the emotional baggage from her encounters got too heavy to bear so she went to see a counsellor named ‘Sheila’ whose alter ego was ‘the Dragon Mother’. This was how she got embroiled with the LADIES WITH A DRAGON HEART.

No two members knew each other but everyone know the DRAGON MOTHER. No one knew what they signed up for or what they gave up as a result of their commitment to this society.

It was Laraba’s 30th birthday. She had broken out in cold sweat. Dragon Mother had told her since she turned 30, she would have to give up the person she loved most. That was Tahar. She was so afraid. She was going to have to do it…..

Then

Something snapped.

The Lion in her awoke.

The lion that had lay dead within her.

The spirit of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah.

She told the Dragon Mother to try her worst. To see if she could contend with the king of kings and the Lord of hosts. She didn’t know where all this was coming from. All she knew was that her creator had his hand on her. His hand on her mightily.

This was how Laraba, was able to fit into her destiny.

She had searched all over

Looked high and low

Sunk in the depths

Dined with the devil

But yet

Her creator hadn’t sought her out

Wrapping her with his everlasting love

Now she could dare call him Abba

Elyon

Yahweh

She was redeemed from the curse.

It was as Tahar said simply 14 years ago.
