As an infant I don’t remember much at all, well not many of us do. I mean no one in their infancy have any memory and is why it’s a good thing I got circumcised at birth. The only knowledge of myself as an infant are the stories my mom would tell me, especially the time where they almost lost me. She told me that I wouldn’t eat much really and all I did eat I couldn’t hold it in and I would puke it out immediately. She told me I was losing so much weight from not holding anything in and so I wasn’t receiving any nutrients at all. My father and her would take me to different hospitals and clinics and out of desperation they would do and try anything possible to get me to eat and hold down liquid. The doctors had no idea what I had or what it was. They would perform tests after tests and get blood work as well as take X-rays but nothing really showed up on any of the tests. They couldn’t believe it and didn’t know what else to do anymore. They thought they for sure were about to lose their one and only first born child. They were at their last wits end, and I was at my last days. I would have died if I couldn’t get any nutrients in me or hold my mothers milk anymore. When they least expected it, out of the blue, a doctor who had heard about me came along to the hospital where I was being cared for, to check me out. He performed the tests he had and As per my parents they said he gave me a shot of who knows what but that shot the doctor had given me had revived me and I slowly started holding my moms milk in again and day after day I slowly started eating better and starting coming back to a healthy weight. You see I started fighting for my life and I do not know who this angel was but he came and he saved my life. Whatever that doctor gave me and whoever that doctor was that came out of the woodworks and gave me that shot I owe my life to for I would not be here to tell this story if it weren’t for him. So I give him thanks now and I praise him for saving my life. God is everywhere they say and apparently He was there that day at the hospital when this young doctor showed up and resuscitated me back to life. Thank you Lord for it was a blessing. An angel in disguise I would say.
