Scarlett's POV
I held Jacob's hand as we climbed the stairs. The palace was huge and beautiful. It was like the ones we see in movies.
The huge gates of the palace opened by two guards. We walked inside and it was gorgeous. There was a long hallway, with guards standing on each side. There was a long red carpet. The walls were full of paintings and photos. There was crystal chandeliers hanging from the wall.
We could hear the chatters of people. I looked at Jacob. He had a stone face. He looked intimidating. When he noticed that I was looking at him, he turned to face me and sent me a small smile.
