The sun has just disappeared and the daylight has just faded when Tris hands me a card.
“What is this?” I ask.
“It’s from Her Majesty,” Tris replies.
My eyes narrow as I unfold the card, then they widen as I read what’s written on it.
[To Marguerite, I wish to invite you to have some time with me so we can discuss some urgent matters. I’ll be waiting at the maiden’s hot spring now.]
I don’t wanna believe that this invitation is from Queen Esther coz the last time she summoned me to the queen’s throne hall, I didn’t get any formal invitation like this, just a verbal one. However, at the bottom of the card is her seal, abolishing my doubt that the invitation is from her.
