I walk closer to Captain Haile so we can better see each other.
“Do you wanna get out of there in the meantime?” I ask.
He considers his answer and after a few moments, he lifts his hand to me. I assume he wants my assistance so he can walk out of the hidden space between the walls, so I take his hand. Little do I know that he wants something else. The instant our hands clutch, he pulls me towards him, causing me to lose my balance and to fall onto his chest.
He looks very weak. That’s why it’s a wonder where he got his strength when he pulled me.
I attempt to pull away and to stand up straight, but he pulls me back into him and encircles his arms around my figure even tighter.
