Act II As Seth was well aware, things in his land were askew, such was a result of war. He, for all intents and purposes, agreed with the war. The people of Greece had no right to this land, and the Egyptian people would not simply lay down and die. But the earthquakes, the inexplicable fire-storms, the paranormal rains of blood. This reeked of chaos. Yet it was not his personal brand of it. He first saw the shadow as it presided over the innumerable corpses of Seth’s people, which turned his golden sands red and rusty. The reaping shadow followed Ares and at first, Seth assumed he was merely War’s lackey. As he watched, he realized the shadow had no interest in Ares and was only concerned with the carcasses which dribbled behind the bellicose god. The figure knelt over each one and
