Ares couldn't stand the sound, unsheathing his dagger, he pointed it at Ira. "Silence!" He demanded, his ears ringing from the wails of pain and hate. Ira did not quiet or become still. He lunged again, barrelling into Ares, caring not for the threat of the dagger. They grappled one another. Ira clawed at Ares and tore Sekmet’s skin from his shoulders. Ares punched and tried to use his blade, but the weapon was useless in this battle. He let out an angry yell, how could he be beaten by such a vile thing? Ira's maw opened, his jaw unhinging like a snake's. He breathed in Ares' screams and drank down his rage, swallowing it deep into his pit of his stomach and letting it burn his heart. Ira grabbed the spiralled horns of Ares' helmet and ripped it from his skull, nearly pulling Ares’ head
