Our journey

The Fight

                            The Wolves were standing in the middle of the ground, their canines were out, angry growls were heard from both of them, boys and girls, junior's and senior's, everybody from all over the academy came rushing and gushing to watch the fight. everybody tried to get a good view the heads were peeping from all over some were jumping some climbed the walls and some saw from their room's windows. And some legends brought snacks with them, ufff,  we were standing on the stair's of the academy, the sun above us heated our heads and perspiration filled our bodies, still, we chose that place, which gave us a good but a far view of the fight.

                       The coach whistled and the fight started.  Both of them started to run towards each other, their paws crushing the ground below, their heavy breaths were heard because the ground was in a pin drop silence. They jumped and their paws and claws were out their mouth was wide open to tear their opponent, well technically they can't kill each other but the fight was real.

       During their higher jump in the air everybody's jaw dropped including me, our hands-on our forehead and a silent "wooooooaaaaahhhh" escaped everybody's mouth. We saw that scene in a slow-motion kind of thing. And soon we heard the killer roar from both of them, One was a huge Grey wolf and another was Brown. Soon their claws and killer teeth dug in each other's skin and started to knock each other out.

The roars were loud and soon they landed with a thud on the ground leaving a smog of sand which made the scene unclear for few seconds, the grey wolf was heavy on the brown one, they rolled on the ground and soon the grey one overtook on the brown, his paws on his inner shoulders as the brown wolf was on the ground facing the grey wolf, taking this opportunity they grey wolf dug his canines on the brown one but the brown one pushed him with his back legs and got up and attacked the grey one, again they rolled over and heavy bites and punches and more thuds were a surprising part of the scene. 

   Both the wolfs seem to pant heavily but to our surprise, they both took another round in a few seconds. 

They both started to walk in circles and gaining their strength again, the brown one was first to run and attack, the grey one tried to doge but to his surprise, the brown one was quick to notice and caught him by his neck and tried to get on top of him by turning him through his grip on his neck. The grey wolf's body dashed on the ground and soon the brown one took over him and within the whistle of the coach the fight was called off.

  Two boys came running with a pair of shorts before the competitors could shift to the human form. The brown wolf got off from the grey one and so they both shifted to humans and within a second they wore their clothes. The coach approached the boys, they were panting heavily and their bodies were sweating like crazy, we noticed that they lost a few pounds after they shifted maybe because of the number of calories they had burned. such a drastic change. The coach went near and started talking to them,  half of the crowd dispersed, and the remaining one's seemed to be the senior's who wanted to know the results. I too left with my friends talking about the fight and the details we noticed of it.

                 At the lunch, everybody was waiting for the food to be placed, but soon the heads turned to the door of the dining hall, and a loud cheer was heard from the senior's and so we came to know that the Two boys who entered were the fighters of this morning. One was Asian and another was African. Still was confused to know which one was grey and which one was brown? Soon people started shaking hands with them especially girls, while the African lad was walking towards his seat and shaking hands with the seated ones there was a Chinese girl with which he shook hands and suddenly their eyes turned silver for 4 seconds, "MATE" THEY BOTH ROARED...... And the last thing I saw was the girl jumped over an African boy and soon the crowd around them took over, we could only hear cheer and laughter and praises for the couple. The food was served and we ate in silence. Raj Jacob Quinn and Ruth were dumbstruck by the even they witnessed today. The day seemed over for us but we still our classes to finish and assignments to submit. We went with no mood to attend the class because the scene of the fight was still fresh in our eye.

             Our minds and thoughts were filled with the idea and the moves of a fight, we started imagining ourselves about our time to fight, our performance the energy the aggression the moves the shift the crowd who gathers to see the fight, the way we were standing one day will come when other will surround us to watch our fight and we have to do it. How will our lives be, How it is to shift into a wolf, we have never experienced the shift. We have not shifted yet, never even attempted to do so, how will it be? How are we gonna fight? The thoughts filled our mind and unknown future with a burden to become AN ALPHA OR A LUNA. What if our hearts do not feel the way it is right now? What if we do not want to be of who we are. How will I survive the war or may be this just a practice fight? What will Raj and Jacob do? It was clear from their expression that they too were having the same thoughts which I am having right now. 

Still, we went for our classes but our minds were still on that ground, and worry about our future suddenly had popped up. This academy is not what we initially thought. It has a lot more to give and a lot more for us to take.

            Sharp at 7 the dinner time was there I was suddenly hungry and again the fighter boys appeared but now with an addition of the Chinese mate of that An African wolf. As soon as they stepped in the dining hall a low cheer again was heard but soon was shut down by the guards. The dinner went in silence again. Quinn broke the silence and said what we had kept in out minds, "Guys I Am not feeling good let's go out for a walk after dinner"  "YEAH" agreed everyone "We definitely need fresh air" said, everybody.

       We all went for a walk grabbing extra dessert in our hands cause we needed to feel better. We had chocolate fudge pastry and a few strawberry ice cream kind of gelato. Nobody said anything just offered each other our desserts and walked on road which had dark forest at one end.
