Chapter 4 - In love with Lily

As the school year drew to a close, Jacob and Lily had become good friends. They spent a lot of time together, and they had a lot in common. They both loved music, books, and movies, and they had similar senses of humor. Jacob enjoyed spending time with Lily, and he found himself looking forward to seeing her every day.

One day, as they were walking home from school, Lily turned to Jacob and said, "I really like spending time with you, Jacob. You make me feel like I belong."

Jacob smiled and felt his heart race. He had never been good at reading social cues, but he thought he might be picking up on something here.

"Lily, I feel the same way," he said. "I'm glad we've become such good friends."
