BRIAR’S POV
Deborah lunges at him, grabbing him from behind and choking him with both arms around his neck.
"Alpha, please regain your senses," she pleads with him, but he responds with a deep growl, reaching for her.
He grabs her from his back and throws her forward like a sack of potatoes. She collides with the wall in front of him, but the impact isn’t enough to take her down.
She gets up fast, without reacting to the pain.
His claws sink into her shoulder the moment she gets close again, drawing blood that spills from her, but she reacts quickly, kicking him backward.
He staggers, and she uses the opportunity to leap on him again, this time pinning him down on his back while she straddles him. She throws a punch, but he grabs her arm and bends it.
