Chapter 6 The First Day of School (Pt) 2

Jessica's P.O.V

Alexander dragged me until suddenly he stopped which caused me to jolt forward. And almost fall flat on my face. As I braced myself for impact I felt a strong pair of muscular arms wrap around me, I opened my eyes to see Alexander. His eyes are so captivating I could get lost in them for hours, how come I never noticed his eyes before. Oh yeah now I remember he still has his personality. Before I even had time to get lost in his eyes as much as I wanted to, he pulled me up. He walked me into class, then took off somewhere else.

After my first three classes were over it was lunch time, so I headed towards the cafeteria. On my way I bumped into someone. I looked up to find a really pretty girl who had brown hair and the most beautiful green eyes I had ever seen, like seriously I envied how pretty she was. But I'm not like some other people who envy someone prettier than them.

"Sorry, I'm such a klutz I should really pay more attention when I walk, sorry again." I say to the girl who is still on the floor as I hold my hand out for her to take. She grabs my hand and then I pull her up off the floor. Just as I'm about to apologize again she speaks up.

"It's okay I probably should have had more attention on where I was going. It's not your fault. Oh I'm sorry how rude of me not to introduce myself, hi I'm Kate, and you are." She asks me very quickly and silently.

"I'm Jessica, nice to meet you." I say

"Nice to meet you too." She says a warm smile surrounding her face with a cheerful aura. 

"How come I haven't seen you around here before." She asks me a curious look on her face.

"Oh uh yeah I guess I didn't explain that part yet, I'm new. I just moved here from Florida." I say to her she shakes her head in response. 

"Do you need someone to show you around, cause I can if you want." She says willing enough to help me.

"Thanks I'd like that and it would be much appreciated." I say with a little laugh at the end at how bad I am at reading the school map.

"It's settled then I'll show you around, but after we eat. Come on follow me I'm sure my friends will be thrilled to have you sit at our table." She says with a reassuring smile. 

"Umm...okay...yeah sure." I say to her, still a little unsure about the idea of being near a bunch of strangers. Oh well I guess if I need to I can always leave, right.

As we walk into the lunch room, I spot a small group of kids around my age waving at Kate and me to come join them. And so we do. 

We walk right up to the table and instantly all eyes are on me. One boy is smiling at me. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

I see another boy with a smirk on his face looking me up and down. Making sure you can instantly tell he's the player of the three sitting there. He has blond hair and green eyes.

The last person sitting there was a girl who was giving me a warm smile. She also had brown hair and brown eyes like the first boy.

"Hey guys what's up." Kate asks her friends. 

"The sky what else." The girl says obviously being sarcastic. Or you know trying.

"Haha very funny." Kate says in the most monotone voice I've ever heard.

"Who's your friend." The blond boy asks her while winking at me still looking me up and down.

"Oh this is Jessica, she's new." Kate replies while putting something back into her bag.

"Oh a new girl, well if you ever wanna have some fun call me maybe we could hang out sometime sweet cheeks." He says winking at me again. Oh boy this is gonna be a longer day than I thought. 

"My name is Alice." The girl says cutting off the boy from speaking anymore.

"This is my brother Alan." She says pointing to the boy with brown hair and eyes. 

"And that's Cody, just don't sit next to him and you're likely to not be labeled as one of his conquests." She says all the while pointing to the blond, earning her a glare from him.

"Hi, it's nice to meet all of you I'm Jessica." I tell all of them then Kate pulls me down to sit next to her and Alice.

"Wait guys cutie alert." Alan says while looking towards the cafeteria entrance. We all look in that direction next thing I see a really cute  guy walking in with several others, I look around to see most of the girls, and even quite a few guys swooning at the sight before their eyes. Damn these guys were I'm not gonna lie wow, like damn are they trying to give people heart attacks. This is gonna be a whole  lot harder than I initially thought, but oh well if you can't beat em may as well join em.
