The moon goddess was indeed on my side and she had heard my cry for help. I wasn't going to die today after all.
I waited until I was sure that my powers were back in their right proportions before I slapped the guard who had hit me earlier, hard across his face.
The slap took both guards by surprise, "You two made a grand mistake by coming after me!" I said in spite before curling my fingers into a fist.
My entire body was already glowing. I focused on channeling my powers to my fingertips.
The feel of electricity coursing through my fingers was magical. I'd never used my powers in battle and seeing the intensity of how much was going into my fingers marvelled me.
