"Your Majesty, err.. Miss Gaia, can I ask you one more thing?"

"Huh? Sure."

"Can we be friends?"

She show unusual expression again but then she smiled and said, "Yes. Tell me your name!"

When she asked me, it felt like my mind was empty.. what really is my name? It took me too long to respond to her but a voice whispered on my ear.

"Don't tell me you don't have any?" she said.

"No! I have one!"

"Then tell me."

"I'm Ral.. no, I'm Ruelle!"

She led me to the gate that she opened and said goodbye as she said farewell. It is really amazing that I can experience such unnatural things, it feels like I was dreaming, but in reality it is my new life and this is the new me.

I don't want to be as wimpy as before, I think this world was filled with strong beings. Given that greater entities such as gods, demons and spirits dwelling in this world, I can't afford to die once more. With I, giving myself a new name.. I must become stronger to be able to live longer than my previous life.

"Your Majesty, what happened?" said the knight who was in charge of guarding the Spirit Queen.

"Summon the rest of the Ten Great Spirits, tell them that we have an urgent meeting at the Round Table."

Without any words, the knight fulfilled the Queens order in no time. Gaia headed to the Royal Conference Room where the nine of the Ten Great Spirits gathered.

"Why did you summon us Gaia?" asked Helios.

"The one that Eros took in was actually a candidate."

"Whoo! That's my son for 'ya!" Eros exclaimed.

"You mean he's stronger than us, the rest of Great Ten?! Hmmm.. I want to test his strength. Hahahahahaha!" Vedarda shouted.

"Could you please minimize your voice! You stupid war freak meathead!" Terraria exclaimed.

The other didn't give their thoughts for they didn't know if they are supposed to be happy or worried after hearing the news. Gaia decided to adjourn the meeting and gave them a warning,

"Listen everyone, do not be hasty and careless upon approaching him. Do not take him lightly! He has three different sources of origin and he is capable of using magic without incantation." She looked into Eros, "Please, guide him to become a hero. I cannot think what will happen on the future, I've never seem such existence just like his before."

"Of course! Because he is my kid."

Gaia approached him and whispered before he go. He was shocked on he has heard, but he made a promise to Gaia that he will monitor the child until he reach his adulthood.

"Mama! Papa! I'm home!"

I rushed into her to give her a hug and her graceful smile welcomed me back.

"How's my little boy?"

"I'm fine mama!.."

"Hmm what's wrong?"

"I was thinking about something."

"What is it?"

"Uhmm.. Recently, the queen told me about the importance of a spirit's name."

"Then?"

"I have a name mama!"

"Oh my! How adorable!" she said, "Do my little boy wanted to tell mama his name?"

"Mama, my name is Ruelle! But I don't mind if mama won't tell me her name.."

"Oh, how sweet! Don't worry I'll tell you mine," she said, "Mama's name is Pia, my little Ruelle."

As she mentioned her name, the familiar event happened again and this time the sigil appeared at my right hand's ring finger, as usual it stings a bit but I have to be used to it if I wanted to befriend the spirits on this world.

Later on Papa arrived and talked to Mama for awhile, I don't want to butt in their conversations but it gives me chills as Mama stare at me with an unusual expression. It really hurts me to saw such expressions that I must be used to because my former parents show that same thing to me, but this is another world and it feels like I can be casted away because I'm a misfit. The fact that I'm only an adopted child, I must leave this realm sooner as I turn adult.

As what I've said, I wanted to live longer than before. I need to be strong so that I could find myself worthy to dwell within this world, but then they approached after their talk and Papa pats my head.

"It seems like we haven't introduced ourselves properly," he said, "I am Eros, one of the Ten Great Spirits, the Spirit of Love. And this is Pia, a member of Eros' Clan and my wife."

Mama smiled at me and said, "We will raise you until adulthood and we will guide you, so that you won't fall astray."

Papa carried me on his back, "You will become a hero raised by me, your father, Eros!!" he exclaimed.

That time all of my doubts had vanished and only hope remains. I promised myself that I won't disappoint the people around me this time, I cried as I felt that I was accepted.. that I am no more casted away.

From that day I locked again myself on a room, a room filled with books that contains informations that I must learn about this world, the World of Gourd.
