I felt a cold sweat break out of my body as the words echoed through my mind: 'It's what we live for and what we'll die for." Even if the air outside was cold and the tent itself was spacious enough for me to move around comfortably, I was still suffocating inside, not because of the heat, but because of fear. I shifted onto my side, trying to get comfortable, but my mind refused to quiet down, making it impossible to sleep.
