I flattened myself against the ornate pillars, hiding in the shadows as Cassandra approached the guarded corridor of Kensington's West Hall.
“My lady, I'm afraid you can't go in," one of the guards said, stepping forward to block her.
“How dare you try to stop me?" She fumed. "Are you so blind that you can't even recognize who I am anymore?"
