I stood at the edge of the mountain, my face pale as I stared blankly at the massive gap that separated us from the other side, and for a moment I felt like I was staring into a void.
After traveling for two days, we finally reached the edge of the mountain, which was supposed to lead us to the cave that would take us down to the mountain pass between two peaks, but somehow Adrian had forgotten to mention that there was a huge gap we would have to cross to get to the other side.
