GETTING THE BAND BACK TOGETHER

The next day I woke up around 9 am and looked up on google for the nearest gym because I needed to workout, and I found a place that was 20 minute walk away from my home so I got into my gym clothes and went there. The gym was big and all of the people I saw there and they were all really nice. The receptionist was a 22 year old woman she was pregnant her name was Shelly and she and her husband Trayton owned the gym together. I asked for a year membership card and filled out some application forms and she said that I would be able to get my card in two days so I was happy to hear that.

After my hour long workout I grabbed my stuff from the locker Shelly gave me and walked back home. It was 11:30 when I was finally showered, dressed and sat down to eat my breakfast which consisted of some sandwiches I had in the house from my dinner the night before. My fridge and pantry were empty I didn’t have any food or kitchen supplies all my stuff was still in boxes and I dreaded to unpack and clean up the house so I was lazy, yep that was it.

I procrastinated till about 1pm and after that I started with looking for cleaning supplies, which there were none, so I made a list for cleaning supplies, food, drinks and all the other supplies I needed for around the house and I got in the garage and my grandmas old school Ford truck was there waiting for me, thankfully I had gas in the garage and I filled the car up before grabbing my cards, keys and phone and leaving the house to go and buy all of the stuff that I needed.

Once I got all of the things and made my way back home the sun was already setting and it was almost 7pm. I unloaded the truck and started with cleaning up the whole house top to bottom I even cleaned the whole garage and basement and all of the garbage was in the bins and everything else was stored nicely, I was even able to make myself some dinner, it was just some spaghetti and meatballs.

I was done with the whole house and I still had other boxes to unpack and a lot of more things to store and I needed to redecorate all of the rooms in this house except the kitchen and dining room because they were already redone for me.

The next day I was finally able to call all the guys from the band and we all agreed we would meet at Blake’s pub so I was happy to be finally able to get out without being controlled by anyone. Then the time slowly came and I got ready and grabbed my truck and drove to the pub, when I got it they were all already there and when Keren saw me she ran to me and hugged me and we both almost hit the ground.

‘Welcome home baby girl!’ said Keren with a big smile on her face.

‘It’s nice to be finally where I belong Keren.’

‘ We all missed you so much.’

‘I know, but I am not going anywhere anymore this is it for me.’

‘Wait you are not going back anymore?!’ asked  Louis with the biggest grin on his face.

‘ Yes I am staying this is my home now guys.’

‘HALELUJAH! YES! I am so happy.’

‘Hey we are happy too!’ yelled the rest of my crazy band mates.

‘ So I know you can’t drink but I can give you coke.’ says  Blake kissing me on top of my head.

‘ I’m fine with just the soda man.’ I replied with a smile

‘ Okay one soda coming right up.’

We sat and messed around with each other and talked about a lot of things in general and I was so damn happy to finally have us all back together.

Over the summer we played gigs and posted a lot of videos on YouTube and we actually grew and got a larger fan base but we were only able to do summer gigs and we would post two to three videos of covers a month and some other videos that any of us could do.

One week after my 20th birthday I was contacted by my nanna’s lawyer and he brought over to me her will and gave it to me.

She left me everything she had, one apartment in Oahu, Hawaii, this house, an apartment in Orlando, Florida and all of her money that she saved up. She even won the lottery and all of the money and assets she had were now mine. She left everything she had to me. The bank account was in my name and there were over 2 million dollars there plus the apartments and this house were all payed off.

As soon as he gave me all the papers he told me that she did this when I was only 7, she put everything in my name and left me everything she ever had. I started crying she was the only person that ever showed love and affection towards me, the only one who ever understood me and supported me unconditionally. And she was now gone.
