***Third-Person POV*** It was pointless trying to mind-link anyone when they were asleep and Black didn't fancy the idea of accidentally looking in at whatever they might be dreaming, so he reached for the mobile phone on his desk. This, too, was new, but his tech-guy had made sure to save all the numbers he needed in the contacts list. Black automatically went to Dimitri’s number first but stopped when he recalled Alex’s words earlier. Scrolling back up the list, he instead went to Alex’s number. His third in command was a man of few words and deep thinking, therefore what he had said meant a lot to Black.
