[Sarah's POV]
Sarah had never heard much about Avery Jones, owner of Avery Inc. Despite being the most powerful person in the industry she was extremely private and it just kept adding to her mystery.
"So, Sarah Bloom," the voice brought her back from her daydream, "Welcome to our company" the was she looked at Sarah made her feel a bit uneasy, she seemed to be assessing her in a way she was almost uncomfortable with. She knew that nowadays it was kind of odd to dress as conservatively as she did. She had often been called prude by coworkers that often pointed out the advantages of dressing "nicer". Sarah had never given in as she always prided herself that wherever she got was based in her hability and intelligence, not because of the way her legs might look in a shorter skirt. She was old fashioned like that... Much of what Ms Jones told her she had already heard from Fred... The casual first name basis etc. "You will be my private secretary and assistant" Ms Jones voice was strangely seductive especially in the way she used the word private.. "You will of course have to sign a non-disclosure aggrement" Sarah thought nothing of it, kinda made sense given the position "And you must make yourself available to me all times" was the woman flirting with Sarah?! She must be imagining things.
"When Fred told me he had found someone suitable for this position from Marley's company I must admit you were not quite what I expected..." Yes her former boss had a big reputation for being a h**n* old man. Was this a test? "Avery" she tried her best to remain calm and collected "I know that Mr Marley has a... reputation..And maybe some of my former coworkers might have seen that as an opportunity. However I can assure you that was never the case with me" there was a glint in Avery Jones eyes, almost as if she found it amusing. "I can see that Sarah. I think you will fit right in. Let me show you to your office"
