[Sarah's POV]
A few weeks had gone by, and Sarah had quickly got used to the workload. However, there were a few things she still needed to get used to, like the playboy ( or was it playgirl in this case?) antics, the way all women seemed to compete for Avery's attention and well more than her attention... Helena especially seemed to dominate the group. The accountant was by far one of the women to spend most time in Avery's office and to make a point of showing it was not all business.. Sarah didn't know why but Helena irked her especially. As if she thought Sarah's personality was all an act - from the way she dressed to her lack of inclination to get Avery's attention in that particular way. Not that Sarah did not feel a pull towards the woman.. but she could never be with anyone as un-monogamous as Avery Jones.
Helena also seemed to make an effort to assert herself to Sarah, making sure Sarah knew what she and Avery were up to.. Sarah honestly did not know why... All her interactions with Avery were civil, but she also made a point of making sure Avery knew she was not the kind of woman that did that sort of thing.
But she had to admit, to herself at least, that there was something in the way Avery acted, That drew her. She didn't mind as much as she should to walk in some heated moments, it was strange sure special since she seemed so unhinged and uncaring unless she felt caught by Sarah then she kinda of reminded her of a rebellious teen putting up a front but knowing they were in the wrong.
