CHAPTER SEVENTEEN (Dear Daisy) Amelia's POV I wasn't kidding when I said I was proud of Betty. Seeing that principled side of her made me respect her the more. When she was talking to me, I could see sadness and hurt in her eyes. I wasn't surprised though. Those feelings were natural. It was normal for her to have felt that way. Nevertheless, I was so proud of her. I admired her courage and felt pity for her as she cried in my arms. Losing her friends must not have been a funny ordeal for her. I kept patting her back while I spoke to her. "It's okay, Betty. It's okay for you to feel this way. It is not your fault that you chose to be honest. It is not a terrible thing that you chose to be a woman of integrity. Trust me, life doesn't end with your friends. You can always make friends
