Cosme's scolding continued. Damascus and Ellio still could not get out of the space they're hiding. The demon began to worry as Ellio's breathing became frequent and heavy.
The human's grip on Damascus' hand tightened as he struggled to breathe air.
"I.. I can't.." Ellio whispered. No matter how much he take in more air, he still felt suffocating. The oxygen was drowning him. His eyes stayed at the silhouettes of the people outside, at Xorran who was now holding the furious and mad Cosme, calming him down.
"Ellio.." Damascus called him, but Ellio remained his eyes outside. "Ellio, look at me.."
The human's breathing only worsened and Damascus could see his struggle. It was getting more worse as each second pass by.
