He fetched the chain of keys in his pocket that he successfully stole from the guards earlier during the chaos. There were hundreds of them and all keys looked identical. Ellio doesn't know which one should be used here in their cell.
"It's impossible," Pawn spoke, watching Ellio's hands trembling as he tried to fit the keys in their lock. "Those keys are not gonna free us."
"Just give me a m-minute," Ellio was panicking, sweat flowing from his forehead. His eyes were blurry as well and it didn't stop forming tears. "I'll find it, I'll find the key.. it's this one..!" He inserted the metal key but it did not fit. "No, no.. maybe, maybe this one. This one is the―" Ellio stopped momentarily when the keys fell and scattered on the ground.
