Azure couldn’t completely hide the spark of desire in his eyes as they lingered on Ellio’s fragile form, but it vanished the moment he blinked and shifted his gaze to Xorran. The blue phoenix’s lips curved into a small, confident smile.
The alarmed furrow on the alpha’s brows suddenly shifted into confusion upon witnessing the sudden change in the phoenix’s expression. It was only when Azure finally spoke that he could finally let his guard down.
