There it goes. The white phoenix spoke again. It was as if he read Ellio's mind and knew who the human was searching for. His voice was soft and Ellio could barely hear him.
Ellio slightly nodded and minutes of deafening silence filled the atmosphere between them. Not until Ellio opened up a topic. "Why did you do that, Alvi?"
The phoenix remained looking at Ellio. His white long hair was being swayed by the wind. His white wings as well as his robe were stained with blood yet Alvi still looked like an angel fallen from heaven.
"Why did you protect and save me?" Xorran added a question. "You used all your powers and even risked your life just for me." Considering that Alvi loathed Xorran, he could have let the barrier break and get Ellio killed to get even with the Alpha.
