The twin phoenix did really cook for Ellio. The human expected for it to taste bad but to his surprise the two were actually good cooks. Ellio ate so much that his stomach ached.
After dinner, there were some matters that Alvi and Azure needed to deal with as guardians of the Western Dimension so they separated ways with Ellio. The human on the other hand went back to his room and chilled at the wooden veranda.
From where he sat, he could see the rest of the highlands. The tree houses were filled with bright lights, illuminating together with the moon. The cold wind blew and Ellio hugged himself. He stared into space as he let himself fall deep into his thoughts. His mind went wandering from here and there. He was so lost in thoughts that he did not hear the door of the room opening.
