"Oh, I forgot!" Layla suddenly exclaimed as we got to the field and sat down. The weather was nice and there were children playing on the field with their mothers. I looked at them and smiled, wondering if I would be able to give birth to a child.
"Forgot what?" I looked back at Layla, with my brows furrowed.
"That alpha is looking for you." she suddenly announced, feeling guilty. "He asked me to call you through the link, but I got a little carried away." She briefly explained, fear in her eyes.
I smiled reassuringly at her. "It's OK to be carried away sometimes,"
"No Luna, you have to go now. I think alpha is angry with me."
"Did he mind-link you?" I asked, wanting to know if Roderick had threatened the poor girl through the mind-link or whatever they call it.
