Throwing the duvet off, I wear my flip flops and lazily drag my feet out, yawning and rubbing my sleepy eyes. Devin is already standing by the door and unlocking it when I reach the living room. "Morning, Devin" "Beautiful morning to you too, Jess" He responds calmly... too friendly and enough for me to pull a puzzle look at him. "Who's at the door?" I ask, stepping closer. He shrugs. "Perhaps, a nosy neighbor who just wants to disrupt our peaceful sleep" Chuckling, I hit his arms slightly and playfully. "I suppose it's Margaret. She's not nosy. Just a friendly neighbor" "Yeah, right" He says gruffly. Margaret's face pops up the moment he pulls the door open. She's smiling
