JESSICA BERKELEY. I'm ready to leave the cottage again. It's a brand new day and another day of helping. This time, I am well prepared. I have my leather jacket on, a head warmer, my boots, scarf and gloves. Stepping out of my room, Devin's door is still shut. I sigh deeply, wishing he wouldn't just shut himself up completely. I wish there's some way I can get him out to help but I feel like if I do that, he's going to get mad. After knowing about his past, I really do not blame him and I feel his reasons for shutting out are genuine enough. At that same moment, his door flings open and he steps out, fully dressed.
