JESSICA BERKELEY. The waiting feels crazy. My mind is a mess, my hands keep fondling with the tip of my dress nervously and my eyes are constantly darting towards the wall clock every passing second. With each tick-tock, my nervousness increases. It's 9:30pm and still no sign of Devin. I have been waiting and hoping he'd be back but nothing and it has been four hours since he stubbornly left the cottage. He says we're out of supplies... We were going to manage, I'm sure we would but he just wouldn't listen, yet he says I'm the stubborn one here. I wouldn't have let him go.. I would have done something if my ankle wasn't hurt. And I feel like going out there to look for him but I can't move an inch. I feel so restless and there are so many crazy thoughts going on in my head. What if so
