Amara's POV
After Damian called me last night, I tried many ways to prevent him from visiting, but he insisted on coming over before going to meet Lily. I just prayed Lily would stop him from coming.
The next day, I was trying to get ready to leave when my doorbell rang.
“Damian…”
“Hi baby,” he rushed in and kissed me like he was starved.
“Stop!! What on earth are you doing?”
I pushed him away, my heart filled with irritation.
“What do you mean? I’m your boyfriend. Can’t I kiss my girlfriend?” he asked.
I forced a smile.
“Of course… just close the door, children might be passing.”
He quickly did and turned to me like a hungry lion.
“I’ve missed you so much.”
I prayed in my heart for someone to save me from this man. I couldn’t even hide my disgust.
