“Where is the little kitty going? I didn't say she can leave!” Their leader said again, staring deeply at Brianna as though he were going to gulp her down. If not for the fact that I was here, he could have jumped on her. The kind of feeling I was getting from him was twisted.
Already I had tucked her behind me for protection. Now I had so many things running inside my head, a way I could try to get the men's attention back to me so that Brianna could escape.
