I stared at Nadia in shock after the voice record finished playing. That was certainly my voice. I didn't know what she was up to, but the darkness in her eyes told me it would be something bad.
My body shivered, and I also felt irritated by the smirk on her lips. She kept playing with her phone in her hand towards me like I was a puppy dog who would come running to snatch it off.
I was no fool. I could tell I wouldn't be able to beat her when I couldn't even shift. If I could use my bare fist, I wasn't certain how long I could last in a fight with her, so I didn't even think of taking the option.
