Sarah standing close to the mango tree talking to herself. "I don't do anything wrong to confront Sar, I did what is best for my relationship, I can see the way owie look Sar, it disturbing me, I know the definition of that look, owie like Sar. Sar should stay away, because if she doesn't go closer to him, he cannot felt that way, it shouldn't be what I am thinking about it true, because owie is my man already, Sar should not come and scatter things for me , I would not forgive her if she take this chance away I was only protecting her relationship with Owie. I was afraid. Afraid that Sar might somehow take Owie away from me. Afraid that he might prefer my twin sister. Afraid that everything i dreamed about could disappear before it even began. Unfortunately. She loved her sister and hated seeing conflict between them. But she also believed Sarah was being unreasonable. She had never flirted with Owie. Never encouraged him. Never tried to interfere. Yet Sarah continued acting as though she were a threat. One Wednesday afternoon, Sar was leaving work when heavy rain suddenly began pouring from the sky. Within minutes, the streets were flooded. People rushed for shelter. Shop owners hurried to protect their merchandise. A lady carrying baby on her back was running away from the rain, children coming from school running home inside the rain, Sar looking at them , the breeze was blowing seriously, tundra began to sound so loud, again and again and again as if no mercy, the clouds were darker, Sar stood closer near the road, hidden close to a shop that was lock hoping the rain would stop. Instead, it grew stronger. "Oh no," she muttered. She had forgotten her umbrella at home. As she considered calling a taxi, a luxury SUV pulled up beside her. The window lowered. Sar's eyes widened. It was Owie."Need a ride?" he asked with a smile.Sar hesitated. "No, thank you. "The rain is getting worse. "I'll be fine." Owie glanced at the dark clouds."I doubt that." Sar looked around. The road was almost empty. No taxis. No buses. No shelter nearby. Reluctantly, she sighed. "Fine. Just this once." A few minutes later, she sat inside the SUV. The air-conditioning cooled the humid air clinging to her clothes. For several moments, neither spoke. Then Owie smiled. "You know, your sister doesn't like me talking to you." Sar groaned. "Please don't start. "I'm just saying. "You already know how she feels." Owie chuckled. She's protective."She's jealous. The words slipped out before Sar could stop herself. Owie's smile widened. Interesting. Very interesting. He enjoyed hearing that. He enjoyed knowing that Sarah cared so much. Even more, he enjoyed knowing the situation was creating tension between the sisters. To Owie, attention was addictive. The idea that two beautiful women could be fighting over him boosted his ego tremendously. "Do you think she's wrong?" he asked. Sar looked out the window. "I think she's scared. "Scared of what?"That she'll lose you."Owie pretended to look surprised "Why would she think that? Sar gave him a look. "You know exactly why." For a brief moment, neither spoke. Then they both laughed. When they arrived at Sar's house, the rain had finally slowed. "Thank you for the ride," she said. "Anytime." She stepped out of the vehicle and headed inside. Unfortunately, someone had been watching. Sarah. She had been standing near the window. The moment she saw Sar step out of Owie's SUV, anger surged through her body. By the time Sar entered the house, Sarah was waiting. "Where were you?" Sar frowned. "Coming home." "With Owie?" Sar immediately understood. Oh, not this again." What do you mean, not this again? "It was raining. Sarah crossed her arms. "So you accepted a ride." "Yes." "You could have called someone else. There was nobody else."" You should have waited." Sar stared at her. "You can't be serious. "I'm very serious. The argument quickly escalated.Neither sister wanted to back down. "He was helping me," Sar insisted "That's how it starts. "Starts what "You getting close to him. Sar laughed in disbelief. Sarah, you're imagining things." "No, I'm not "Then what exactly do you want from me? Sarah pointed toward the door. "I want you to stay away from him. Again. The same demand. The same impossible request. Sar's patience finally snapped. "No."The single word shocked Sarah. What did you say?" "I said no." Sarah stared at her twin. "You would choose him over your own sister? Sar's eyes widened. This isn't about choosing anybody." "It clearly is." "No, Sarah. This is about you trying to control me." Then it what ? Tell me you have be cold towards me since you meant owie, I have never had peace since all those days , you have be tormenting me, you see me as an enemy to your relationship, a relationship that they don't ask you for, now you are putting what is not in my head on my head, you are the one making me to think about owie now o, you are the one in case I do it knows that you Sarah her the one that put this thought in my mind, because I was not ready for all this , I cannot breathe anymore, I cannot drink water and drop cup anymore, because of a man that doesn't tell you that he want you for a serious relationship, well I was on my own , when he decided to help me. Now let me you , ask for example you married owie you would abandon your family because of a man right??? You would not talk to me anymore. Is it me that you suppose to be telling all those things or it owie you need to talk to, why me ??? Sarah replied owie is not the problem, the problem is you, Sar, you are the one that is making him doing what he is doing, if you avoid him, he would avoid you, he is seeing me on your face , because we are identical twins, so he would think I am the one sometimes, Sar was surprised to hear that from Sarah, like seriously , is this you Sarah that is talking??? Or it someone else The room fell silent. Their anty who had been in the kitchen, overheard part of the argument. She walked into the living room. What's going on? Neither sister answered immediately. Sarah looked away. Sar folded her arms. Their mor sighed. "I don't know what this disagreement is about, but you two need to remember you're sisters first." The twins remained silent. Their mother eventually returned to the kitchen, hoping the situation would calm down. It didn't. That night, Sarah lay awake in bed. Once again, she couldn't sleep. But this time, her thoughts weren't filled with romance. They were filled with jealousy. Images kept replaying in her mind. Sar sitting in Owie's car. Sar laughing with him. Sar talking to him. The thoughts tormented her. Across town, Owie sat alone in a hotel lounge. A glass of expensive wine rested on the table before him. His phone buzzed repeatedly. The screen displayed Vivi's name. Again. And again. And again. Owie ignored every call. Instead, he found himself thinking about the twins. The rivalry growing between them amused him. He knew he should stop it. A decent man would have. A decent man would have chosen honesty. A decent man would have admitted he was married. A decent man would have walked away. But Owie wasn't interested in honesty. He enjoyed the attention too much. He enjoyed being desired. And the more the sisters competed, the more powerful he felt. At that very moment, Vivi sat at home helping her children with homework. She glanced at the clock. Nine o’clock sign of Owie. Once again. Her daughter looked up. "Mommy, is Daddy coming home tonight?" Vivi forced another smile. "I hope so." But inside, her heart was breaking. The man she married seemed to be disappearing little by little. She no longer recognized him. His kindness had become anger. His affection had become distant. His promises had become excuses. Yet she continued holding on. Continued hoping. Continued believing things could improve. She had no idea that her husband was creating sin in the lives of two sisters. Back in the twins' bedroom, Sarah finally sat upright. The darkness surrounded her. Beside her, Sar slept peacefully. Sarah stared at her sister's face. For years, she had been her closest friend. Her confidante. Her partner in everything. Now, for the first time, Sarah felt something dangerous growing inside her heart. Resentment. And resentment, when left unchecked, could become something far worse. The crack in the mirror was growing wider. Soon, it would be impossible to hide. And neither sister was prepared for the storm that was coming. To be continue.....
