Two weeks after her birthday, Martina accompanied Lessja to the Richka tribe to meet with their queen, Olenia. The two queens had met each month since the war almost two years earlier. These meetings had mostly been about border patrols, raids on their territories, food production and the ever-present threat of male tribes attacking them. But Lessja had new items for this month’s agenda. Although she had mentioned Martina’s right to be queen of the Hora tribe to Olenia before, this had never been properly discussed. The older queen was clearly not to impressed with this idea, but Lessja hoped to convince her this was best for all Amazons.
