I was standing at the foot of Akira's hospital bed when I had to give way to the doctors and nurses as they wheeled in a medical trolley that was filled with all kinds of medical equipment and other whatnot. The doctors had placed some common items on the bed for Akira to recognise and had Akira to relate to the doctors what they were the items called and what's their purpose such as a stethoscope, a glucometer and some other known medical equipment.
She was able to name some of them and they proceeded further by taking out all of Akira's personal items from her bag that was with her when she had the accident and laid them before her. She had some of the toiletries in a small purse as well as the paperback novel and the heart-shaped origami with a photo of us together as well as her mobil
