Laplace Infinitium: Monster of time

Vol. 2 Chapter 6: The awakened Bunny part 2

There was a question, which has an importance in it. It could give a big information, and progress to the investigation.

"So, you are the fourth scraphunter which was at the ruin forest, when that building high black monster showed up?"

Asked Nagrasiel the group.

"Officer this question is oddly specific, don't you think?"

Asked Reweka to Nagrasiel.

"Yes, it is a specific question. Because i had to search for them. So it is specific, but not oddly. just fitting to the question."

Answered Nagrasiel.

"Nagrasiel, you came to visit us, Yay"

Hajiki Kiurniea jump out, full of joy.

"Yes, we are the one who were there at that time."

"Hajiki why you told him. Atleast ask him why he need that info!"

Hajiki honestly answered to Nagrasiel. Her trust in Nagrasiel enough to be an always positive, cute, little scorpion wolf around him.

The connection between the two. This started back then, when Kiurniea was a little child. At that time, Nagrasiel usually come to visit, as a civil. His goal was to meet and talk with Onkalite. Kiurneia and her sister was there,  at that time only one was there, Surkita. Nagrasiel often get the job of babysitting there.

Both Nagrasiel and Hajiki Kiuneria keeping the memory of this time in [Neulitium cogress].

"Hajiki you not like this, where is that harsh tomboy who is like to argue."

Sayed Reweka.

Hajiki only answered with a slight hit of his face.

"Ouch, here it is, the Hajiki i know."

Sayed Reweka with a cheeky smile.

"Ohhh, you"

Answered Hajiki back to Reweka.

"Hajiki where are the other two group member?"

A question came from Nagrasiel.

"Hajiki, wai-"

Reweka wanted to evade the chance where Hajiki gives off info to Nagrasiel, but Hajiki interupted him.

"Gallahed is nursing N- Mhhhmppp"

Hajiki mumbled the last part of her sentence, because Reweka covered Hajiki mouth. Or rather forced to close her mouth, so she won't be able to open it. atleast while Reweka is holding it.

"Can you wait till i say [Do not tell him] AND after say it."

That moment Gallahed comes out the room where the group stayed at night.

"Here the thirth party of the group."

"Why are you so sure Nagrasiel?"

"Because Hajiki Kiurniea has only sisters. And he is look like someone who is a [he]"

"That is true..."

Reweka is averted his eyes

"There is that for bonus, Hajiki Sayed there is someone who's name is [Gallahed] and nursing someone with a name, it start with an N."

While Nagrasiel and Reweka argued, Hajiki let her snout free, gave Reweka the daggers with her eyes.

Then Gallahed sayed.

"Yes, I am Gallahed Klassiwnev."

He is standing in front of Nagrasiel. He assumed Gallahed is a Bunny Hanabak. The bunny ears hairband, which looked like real ears.

For Nagrasiel to think he was a bunny Hanabak, or some mixed which have bunny in the list is more plauseble. Than the idea Gallahed is a Halabak. He can't think of what will himself do if that boy is a Halabak.

"So.... Gallahed, how is your friend? I heard she is sleeping."

When Gallahed heard the word [sleeping], The sadness reached over him taking a bite of him. On his face it showed, that this is more serious than just a little nap.

"Yes... she is ... sleeping."

"I am sorry, i didn't know."

"Wait a minute, Nagrasiel how did you know that [N] is a girl?"

Reweka interupted with his question.

"As you know, i come here to investigate. The main suspect is that person [N]. I wanted to ask her what happend. When you all was in that buildin."

Nagrasiel's answer.

"Then you can go home, it's not like she will wake up and go out from the room"

At that sertain point of time when Reweka is sayed the last word and letters of his sentence. A second of a time spend by silence. After that. Like when someone having a victory lunch before starting the actual macth. Nadilik quickly pulled the curtain, with strong steps, and confused behavior, with a terrified looks on his face. She took her step into the living part of the tent. When she saw that everyone is there, no there a more than he recognized for a few sec. Now she calm down to degree where she is stable, and less terrified.

With this, Reweka has jinxed himself.

Both Nadalik and Nagrasiel when they saw each other could say only one thing.

"YOU?!?!"

The group 3/4 part was surprised, more even shocked that those two know each other.

After the shock is settled down. Hajiki turn to Reweka, whispering this:

"See, i told you at the ruins."

Reweka gives of a comperable size of sigh as answer Hajiki's comment.

Hajiki saw that. She give a cheeky smile to Reweka, as a gift.

For this Reweka return the so called [favor] of his gift, with a faint.

"Haha."

"Where do you know each other?"

Gallahed asked the two of them, Nadilik and Nagrasiel.

"I meet her at Khasalit's center town hall. After that i had to spend the whole of my trainee years with her at the peacekeepers HQ. All the classes, the field trip.

*Sigh*

For me that was more like a jail, than a place where they supposed to teach us [how to keep the peace].

Still to this day it like a jail to me. The peacekeepers at Outer Rim is only in their name's. We aren't here for the rim's peace, just only for the rich families peace. I hated it. But i can't do anything about it."

Nagrasiel's side of the story of their time of meeting.

"Haaaaah, why you said that spending time with me is similar to being in a jail!"

"Because it was a jail, Nadilik. A prison where is no escape, with only one corridor of exit. When you accept that, there is that corridor. A narrow path of leading out. But that path doesn't lead you out of that cell. It just takes you into another room."

"It was that bad hanging out with me?!"

"Of course not. That place, was a jail to me with no escape. Not because you were there. The system what was the city build on."

Nadilik suprised hearing this.

"Except a selected few, all of the peacekeeper are having huge debt in one of the rich families whose liven in the Outer rim. Those families are indebted by Khasalit. This cycle goes up to the point where no longer can go further."

On the floor small black pearls rolled out from the room of where Nadilik came from.

Nagrasiel attention catched those pearls.

"What is that"

His quick and short statement for the pearls in first look.

He pick one of those pearls. Putting close to his eyes, he look at it. research it with his eyes.

The pearl was black. Some pattern was in the inside of the pearl.

He looked harder to see what is that pattern thing.

The pattern was not a still image, it moved. The pattern, that same pattern was shrinking to the point where it vanished. Then the same pattern appeared. It was big, had a clear vision to it. Still this pattern was shrinking. This process started again and again. Over and over.

The pearl it self wasn't shiny. It looked perfectly cut and polished. Still it doens't shine.

"Guys, where did you find these pearls?"

"We don't know what is that."

Give the whole group of they answer.

"huh."

A sight from Nagrasiel.

"Kiurneia, I ask you. Where did you find these pearls?"

"Nowhere, because we don't know what is that."

"Then where these pearls comes from, i wonder?"

"So, Nagrasiel, Why are you here? Why did you come here?"

Asked Nadilik.

"Nadilik you didn't hear, what was in minutes before you came into the living room?"

Asked Gallahed.

"No, i didn't."

A quick reply from Nadilik.

"It strange to not be able to hear thing with you bunny ear."

"Yeah, you have a great hearing. You can hear tens of meter when someone teasing you"

Reweka's and Hajiki's reply.

"As the others say it is strange. back in the time you hear when i joked about you, from two building far. After that you teased me for a week, because of that."

Nadilik's reply.

"Nadilik, i came here to investigate. To find the culprit who kill the head of the Natli family, Hatrouki Hannen.

The reason i walk to this tent, is to arrest you Nadilik."

Nadilik took a step back. She was frightened.

"Why Nagrasiel want to arrest me?

Why me?"

These thought flood Nadilik mind.

"Nagrasiel why do you think Nadilik was the culprit?"

Asked Gallahed.

"I have an eyewitness who saw the whole case happening. In the morning of the same day, he comes to the peacekeepers. To me and Gezrona. That person, our eyewitness is the servant of the Natli family."

"Nagrasiel, Nadilik was unconscious the whole time."

Gallahed's reply.

"She was with us with the whole time. she couldn't do anything."

Nagrasiel hearing these comments and statements. Start to think throught the case.

By the time it begin to be more obvious to him, that Nadilik has been through a hanaless corruption. It can explain the oddities in the past 3 days. That giant black hooded thing, the scythe wielding culprit, the fact that Nadilik is been a unconscious state till this point.

The puzzle had it's part, it nly need to solve it.

"Nadilik, did you meet with a Hanaless in the past 3 days."

Asked Nagrasiel

"Wait, 3 days has already passed?"

"Yes, so did you meet with it"

"There was that kamaitachi. Who attacked us in one of the building in the ruinforest."

"Who or what defeated the kamaitachi?"

"I don't remember that we killed that thing. I thought we escaped somehow."

"A giant black hooded skeleton who wielded a building sized scythe killed the wind demon. With the rescue squad. Then it vanished like thin air."

Nadilik was shocked when she heard that person from back, HIM slayed the the hanaless, and the rescue squad. The the terror and fear came back to her eyes. She started to shake a little. Just like when the chill runs throught your spine.

Nagrasiel saw her reaction.

"Can it be that you personally meet with that thing?"

"How do you know about it?!"

"So, it is, a yes?"

"He stopped the time, and when i looked around everyone was died. Buried by the rumble, pierced by the heart with the ironkhaffalit support beams, slashed half by the kamaitachi"

This point Nadilik was shouting. Terrified by tme memorys which comes back like a flooding river with an evercollecting fear. Being arrested, killed, saw her frend death.

The black pearls started to shine. It only had a faint light, but slowly it becomed more and more bright.

"He said that he will help me. He said that he will save my friend."

Nadilik continued.

"He said if i won't accept his offer than he unfreeze the time, and everyone will die. My dearest friend will die."

Nagrasiel hugged Nadilik.

"Do not worry, your friends are still alive. They are here with you. You did what you need to do."

Nagrasiel tried to calm Nadilik down.

"Nadilik, please listen to me. You need to live this place as quick as you can with your friends.

Gallahed, Reweka, Kiurneia this place became the most dangerous place to even be. Sadly it is not because the Hanalesses. But because the capital city, Modum Carlium.

You guys had to escape from here. To a place where they can't found you."

"There you are! Khasalit's scraphunter captain is waiting for you for a time now."
