Xavier glanced up at the ceiling. "People. Run."
"Wh-Why?"
"Snakes. Above our heads."
The others' eyes slowly widened in horror as they started running as fast as they could. They entered a hallway where a bright white light shined, and they could hear the snakes behind them. As soon as they all did, the snakes stopped chasing after them, and they returned to their spots.
They all glanced at Xavier. "How did you find out about the snakes?"
Xavier poked his nose, eyes fixated on the ceiling of the main hall. "Smell. Their poison smelled. I don't expect you to smell it, though. You need to be exposed to the poison for an extended amount of time to distinguish the smell." His gaze grew colder. "The problem is that this is an unfamiliar smell. Those snakes are not norm
