Zain screamed in his head and was about to surrender to his rage when he heard footsteps. He blinked, seeing Warda lift the girl and start playing with her silently.
"Y-You… didn't go with the girls for a bath?!" Zain's pressure disappeared instantly.
Warda glanced at him, her lips parting with a small smile. She didn't say a word and left with the child to sit in a quiet corner in the seats in the back. Zain frowned, staring at her. "How old… was that girl anyway? I thought she was a teenager."
He forced himself to look away from her and rested a hand on his chest, trying to ignore the pain in it. Unwillingly, a tear rolled down his cheeks as he shut his eyelids, shuddering and crying in silence. Warda stared at him from underneath her hood, and her smile weakened.
