"DAMN!" Shadi punched the couch with gritted teeth. "We already wasted two-thirds of the time given to us! Eight months! WE CAN'T FIND THEM!"
Oussama anxiously gazed down. "We already found all the gems from the first four categories, but…"
"No… We didn't find all of them." Ray rested the side of his index against his lips thoughtfully. "In each category, we couldn’t find the last gem. We spend months digging tunnels, but we couldn't find the last gem from each category."
He moved his gaze to the many gems they collected. "Even the rhombus-shaped gems, which were all gathered in one spot, were only twenty-seven in total. The last gem was not there."
He glared. "What's the meaning of that? Is it on purpose, or did we just not mine for long enough?"
