4 Although Levi hadn’t specified an exact time for their lunch date, Hayley figured it must be sometime around noon, and made sure to be ready with time to spare. Actually, to be honest, she was ready by nine-thirty, since Brandon was already up and out the door before eight o’clock even rolled around. Well, if nothing else, that gave her plenty of time to stew over what to wear, although she also didn’t want to seem as if she was trying too hard.
