The longer they stayed at Harborview, the more Mel wanted to never leave.
Growing up ‘disadvantaged’ in the stultifying center of the plains, she’d never even dreamed of this level of luxury. Two weeks ago splurging meant cutting a boiled frank into her ramen noodles.
