Chapter 1: Rejected Under the Blood Moon
The Blood Moon hung low over Silver Fang Pack, painting the ancient forest in crimson light. Every wolf in the territory gathered around the Moonstone Arena, their faces glowing with excitement.
Tonight was the Mate Ceremony.
For eighteen years, Aria Nightshade had dreamed of this moment.
She stood quietly among the crowd in a simple white dress, clutching her mother's silver moon pendant. Her heart pounded so loudly she was sure everyone could hear it.
"Moon Goddess... please let my mate accept me."
Life had never been kind to Aria.
After her parents died protecting the pack, she became nothing more than a servant in the Alpha's mansion. She cleaned floors, washed clothes, cooked meals, and endured endless insults from wolves who believed she was cursed because her wolf had never awakened.
Weak.
Worthless.
Broken.
Those were the names they called her.
Still, Aria refused to hate anyone.
She believed the Moon Goddess had a reason for every hardship.
"The ceremony begins!" Elder Rowan announced.
Silence swept across the arena.
One by one, young wolves stepped Blessed .
Some laughed as they found their mates.
Others cried with joy.
Aria waited.
Then...
A warm pull blossomed inside her chest.
It was gentle at first.
Then stronger.
Stronger.
Her breath caught.
Someone was coming.
A tall man emerged from the crowd.
Broad shoulders.
Jet-black hair.
Golden eyes.
Alpha Kael.
The future Alpha of Silver Fang Pack.
Every unmated girl secretly wished he would be her mate.
Aria's heart nearly stopped.
"Mate..."
The word echoed inside her mind.
Kael froze.
His golden eyes widened as they met hers.
For one heartbeat...
Neither of them moved.
Then whispers erupted around them.
"It can't be..."
"The servant?"
"Alpha Kael's mate is the omega girl?"
Kael's expression hardened.
Disgust replaced surprise.
"No."
His voice cut through the silence like a blade.
"No... this is impossible."
Aria's smile slowly disappeared.
"K-Kael..."
"I reject you."
Gasps echoed around the arena.
"You are weak."
"I would rather remain mateless than accept someone like you."
The words struck harder than any physical blow.
Aria's knees trembled.
"But... we're fated..."
"I don't care what fate says."
He stepped closer.
"I, Kael Blackwood, reject Aria Nightshade as my mate."
Pain exploded through Aria's soul.
She screamed as the mate bond shattered.
Blood trickled from her lips.
Her vision blurred.
The crowd laughed.
Some pointed.
Others shook their heads in pity.
Kael turned away without another glance.
"Take her away."
Two guards dragged Aria from the arena.
Rain began to fall.
Cold.
Heavy.
Merciless.
Alone beneath the Blood Moon, Aria collapsed in the forest.
Tears streamed down her face.
"Why...?"
"What did I do wrong?"
No answer came.
Only silence.
Then...
A soft female voice echoed inside her mind.
"Rise, my child."
Aria looked around.
No one was there.
"You are not cursed."
The forest glowed with silver light.
"You are blessed."
A brilliant beam of moonlight descended from the heavens.
The earth trembled.
Ancient symbols appeared beneath Aria's feet.
Pain gave way to warmth.
A silver wolf with glowing blue eyes emerged from the light.
Unlike any wolf ever recorded.
"I am Luna," the wolf said.
"The first wolf created by the Moon Goddess."
Aria stared in disbelief.
"You are my chosen heir."
The pendant around Aria's neck burst into dazzling silver flames.
Power flooded every vein in her body.
Far away...
In the distant Lycan Kingdom...
A man seated upon a black throne suddenly stood.
His crimson eyes flashed.
He whispered one sentence.
"The Blessed Luna... has awakened."

Chapter 2: The Rejection
The cold night air bit into Lyra's skin as she stumbled through the forest, tears blurring her vision.
She didn't know how long she had been running. All she knew was that every step carried her farther from the pack that had once been her home.
Behind her echoed the cruel laughter of pack members who had watched her humiliation without lifting a finger.
"The Moon Goddess rejected her."
"She's cursed."
"A wolfless Luna? What a joke."
Their words refused to leave her mind.
Lyra collapsed beside a narrow stream, her knees sinking into the damp earth. The moon reflected on the water, bright and beautiful—yet it felt so far away.
She looked up.
"Why?" she whispered. "What did I do wrong?"
Silence answered.
A sharp pain suddenly pierced her chest.
She gasped.
The strange warmth she had felt during the ceremony returned, stronger this time. It spread through her veins like liquid fire before disappearing just as quickly.
"What... was that?"
Before she could think further, the sound of footsteps reached her ears.
She stood instantly.
Three rogue wolves emerged from the darkness, their golden eyes fixed on her.
"Look what wandered into our territory," one of them sneered.
"A lonely little she-wolf."
"No," another laughed. "She's the girl everyone is talking about. The one without a wolf."
Fear tightened around Lyra's heart.
She took a step back.
"I don't want any trouble."
"But we do."
The largest rogue lunged.
Lyra screamed and threw her arms over her face.
A deafening roar exploded through the forest.
The rogue froze.
A massive black wolf crashed into him, sending him flying several meters away.
The other rogues immediately shifted into wolves and attacked.
The black wolf moved with terrifying speed.
Within seconds, one rogue lay unconscious.
The second fled.
The third whimpered before disappearing into the trees.
The forest became silent once more.
The enormous wolf turned toward Lyra.
His silver eyes glowed under the moonlight.
For a heartbeat, neither of them moved.
Then the wolf shifted.
A tall man stood before her, dressed in dark clothes that somehow survived the transformation. His broad shoulders and commanding aura made him impossible to ignore.
His face was handsome yet unreadable.
"You're injured," he said.
Lyra instinctively stepped back.
"Who are you?"
Instead of answering, his gaze lingered on her face.
Confusion flashed across his eyes... then disbelief.
"It can't be..."
"What?"
He took one slow step closer.
"I've searched for you for years."
Lyra frowned.
"You must have mistaken me for someone else."
The man's expression hardened.
"No."
His eyes shone with certainty.
"The prophecy was true."
Before Lyra could ask what he meant, a brilliant silver mark briefly appeared on the inside of her wrist.
The stranger stared at it, his breathing uneven.
Then he uttered the words that would change her life forever.
"You are the Blessed Luna."
